ABOUT SUPASLUMP
Supaslump Masters was founded by President/Chief Engineer, Greg Forsberg. Greg has a long history in the music business, from Engineer at the world famous Plant Studios in the Bay Area, to owning and operating Youth Engine Records in San Francisco, to a successful career as a freelance Producer.
Some of his more memorable credits include Digital Editing and Arrangement on John Lee Hooker/Van Morrison’s release “Don’t Look Back”. That record won 2 Grammy’s in 1998.
He also spent time engineering for Raphael Saadiq in Sacramento, CA. as well as working on countless other Major Label records in various capacities.
Between 2000 and late 2002, Greg taught at the college level. He taught all aspects of Record Production and Post Production as well as large format SSL and Neve consoles, but he soon decided it was taking too much time away from Supaslump Masters and he then moved all operations to sunny Las Vegas, NV to build an upgraded mastering room.
Greg also remains one of the youngest folks in the U.S. with experience cutting vinyl records.

OUR STUDIO
At Supaslump Masters we use only the best equipment possible, from our digital processing to the cables that tie everything together. Every component of the main workstation's computer was hand picked, built, and optimized by Greg for flawless performance.
Supaslump uses customized Paradigm speakers. These are the same model we have used for over 10 years, so you can trust we are getting a realistic, expert reference. The room is treated minimally with acoustical treatment for a good reason. One of the main purposes of Mastering is to make SURE your music sounds good in a living room as well as a club or a car. A lot of times Mastering rooms are "too acoustically perfect" in our opinion.
Greg has mastered records at some of the biggest named, highest priced studios only to find out that the end result was short sighted of the intended playback environment. At Supaslump we have achieved a happy medium and optimal Mastering conditions.
